ELIZABETH CITY, N.C—Stephen Harold Alford, Jr., 82, died Wednesday. Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at McLaurin Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens....

            Surviving: wife, Cleo Bunn Alford of the home; several nieces and nephews.
