            Mrs. Laura P. Alford, age 85 of Snellville, died Sunday, October 12, 1997.

            She was born in Toledo, Ohio, was a member of Grayson United Methodist Church, The Snellville Keenagers and Snellville United Methodist Church Prime-timers.

            She was the widow of George W. Alford.

            Survivors, daughter, Joanne Fuller of Lawrenceville; son, George Alford of Conyers; sister, Elizabeth Redfox of FL; brothers, Steve Piriczky and Albert Piriczky, both of FL; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews.

            Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 1997, at 11:00 a.m. in Wages Snellville Chapel.... Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, in College Park.... Tom M. Wages Funeral Service, Snellville Chapel, 770-979-3200.

            Laura Jolan Piriczky Alford was the widow of George Washington Alford (1906-1984), who died before AAFA was established.
