ARKADELPHIA—Margaret Janet Patterson Baumgardner, age 84, died at her home in the Trinity Community (Clark Co.) on Sunday, October 9, 1994.

            A homemaker and a farmer, she was the widow of Carl Nealus Baumgardner. She was the youngest daughter of Robert Olynthus and Alcie Ann Elizabeth Henderson Patterson. She was a native of Clark County, born on April 29, 1910.

            She is survived by three sons, Robert Preston Baumgardner of Fayetteville, Ark., James Carlos Baumgardner of Longview, Texas, and Everyn Nealus Baumgardner of Gurdon, Ark.; two daughters, Janine MacKenzie of Cookeville, Tenn. and Frankie Elizabeth Schenke of Benton, Ark.; one brother, Donald Ian Patterson of Gurdon, Ark.; one sister, Lucy Doris Patterson of Gurdon, Ark.; fifteen grandchildren; and twenty–three great–grandchildren.

            Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., October 11, 1994, at Murry-Ruggles Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Moore and Rev. Preston Baumgardner officiating. Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., tonight at the funeral home. Interment will be in the South Fork Cemetery, under the direction of Murry-Ruggles Funeral Home.

            Memorials may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church, Dobyville Cemetery Association, South Fork Cemetery and the American Cancer Society.
