Wichita Falls, Wichita Co., TX—Saturday, 24 December 2016

 

            Edna “Juanita” Cable passed from this life into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, December 22, 2016. She was 95 years old.

            Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at First Baptist Church Lakeside City with Pastor Daniel McCoy officiating. Interment will follow the next day in Wichita, KS. Arrangements are under the direction of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.

            Juanita was born April 7, 1921 in Stonewall, OK to Charlie and Maude Alford. Her first move as a child from Stonewall to Ada, OK was in a covered wagon. She graduated from High School in Tuttle, OK, where she met Teral Cable. They married on June 10, 1941 and had four sons. During WWII while Teral was away for three years in the war, she worked for Boeing Military Airplane factory in Wichita, KS. After the war, she was a homemaker while Teral worked for General Electric Co.

            She is survived by her sons Bruce & wife Julie Cable of Wichita Falls; Neil & wife Evelyn Cable of Salina, KS; Floyd & wife Willie Cable of Wichita Falls. Grandchildren - Shannon & husband Martin Reichwein of Colorado Springs, CO; Heather & husband Scott Rider of Las Vegas, NV; Brian & wife Samantha Cable of Carrollton, TX; Chris & wife Jennifer Cable of Princeton, NC; Matthew Cable of Salina, KS, and eight great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her parents, her two sisters Opal and Earlene, her husband, and her number two son, Gary….
