            Harlan J. “Jay” Jacobs, 57, of Charleston died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001, at home after a short illness. He was an electrician for Clearon Corp. with 34 years of service and was a Navy veteran.

            Surviving: sisters, Terah A. Jacobs and Wanda S. Halstead of Charleston; niece, Terri L. Harless of Hurricane; two grandnephews and two grandnieces.

            Service will be noon Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. Anthony Mason officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville. Friends may call from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
