72. Drury Cade "Kaderor" Alford was born possibly about 1767 in Wake County, NC and died there Aug 27, 1811. Drury's 1st marriage was to 73. Aprey Hunt about 1787 in North Carolina. Aprey was born Mar 22, 1766 and died Nov 18, 1839. Drury's 2nd marriage was to Elizabeth _____.

NOTE: The account of Drury as Lodwick's father is tentative at best. Use all data on his descendants accordingly.
  • There are some who believe that Drury was one of the children of James Lodwick and Susannah Alford. It is known that they did not list all their children in their wills.
  • Two wives are shown with two different families making it very probable that there were two different Cade Alfords - maybe even three. We have at least three names for wives. The real Cade, son of Lodwick was the executor of his will in 1820. He was named in the 1820 tax lists. The Cade who went to Mississippi was in Morgan County, Alabama by 1827. Could it be the same fellow with two families?
