WILL OF BENNET H. ALFORD

In the name of God Amen I Bennet H. Alford of the State of North Carolina Frankllin County being of Sound mind and disposing memory but Reflecting that it is pointed to man once to die and having through the Blessing of God accumulated some worldly substances do make ordain publish and declare this to be my last will and testament in manner and form following to wit.

Item 1st Give and bequeath the whole of my Estate both Real and personal of Every discription (sic) and Kind to my beloved wife Mary Alford during her natural life or widowhood and at the and at the happening of Either Event to be Equally divided between my living children to them and their heirs for ever.

Item 2nd The second my will is that all of my Just debts be paid and that my body be plainly but decently bound with the usual cerremonies (sic) for such occasions.

Item 3rd and last I appoint my beloved wife my Sole Executrix to this my last will and testament Revoking all others by me heretofore made. Signed Sealed and delivered in the presents (sic) of us.
