WILL OF THOMAS ERNEST ALFORD

Know all men by these presents; that I, T. E. Alford, of the County of Sabine,
and State of Texas, being of sound and
disposing mind and memory and lawfully married, do make and publish this my
last will and testament, hereby revoking all wills
by me at any time heretofore made.
I give to my beloved wife, Minnie J. Alford, all the property, real, personal
or mixed of which I may die seized and possessed.
I hereby appoint Minnie J. Alford independent executrix of my Will and direct
that no bond shall be required of her and that no
other action shall be had in the county court in relation to the settlement
of said estate than the probating and recording of this,
my will, and the return of an inventory, appraisement and list of claims of
said estate.
This I make and publish as my last will, hereunto signing and subscribing my
name this the 3rd day of October, 1933, in the
presence of J. A. Pratt and C. G. Minton, who attest the same at my request.

The above instrument was now here published as his last will and signed and
subscribed by T. E. Alford, the testator in our
presence, and we, at his request, in his presence, and in the presence of each
other sign and subscribe our names thereto as
attesting witnesses.

County of Sabine } ESTATE OF T. E. ALFORD, DECEASED,
TO THE HONORABLE COUNTY COURT IN AND FOR SAID COUNTY:
1.
Now comes your petitioner, Minnie J. Alford, and respectfully shows to the
Court that she resides in Sabine County, Texas;
that T. E. Alford is dead; that he died on or about the 12th day of June, A.
D. 1935, at Geneva in the County of Sabine, State
of Texas; that said deceased at the time of his death was a resident of the
County of Sabine, in the State of Texas.
2.
That at the time of his death the said T. E. Alford was seized and possessed
of real and personal property of the probable value
of three thousand ($3000) Dollars and left a written will, duly executed and
herewith filed, in which your petitioner was
appointed executrix.
3.
That your petitioner is now disqualified by law from accepting letters testamentary.
4.
That said Will appoints and constitutes your petitioner, Executrix thereof
with out bond ____ her legal performance of the
same, and further provides that no further action be had or taken by the Probate
court, other than probating the same and filing
an inventory, Appraisement and list of claims of said estate.
Wherefore your petitioner prays the court that Citation be issued to all parties
interested in said Estate as required by law, that
said Will be admitted to probate, that letters testamentary be issued to your
petitioner, and that such other and further orders be
made as to the court may seem proper.
