AAFA ACTION
AAFA ACTION, The Official Publication of the Alford American Family Association, has been published quarterly since June 1988. Professionally printed and bound, each 60-100 page issue includes member lineages, census transcriptions, biographies, genealogies, obituaries, wills, and reports on AAFA's projects and plans.

AAFA ACTION is sent to all active members; it is not offered separately by subscription. We try to mail issues on the following (slightly vague) schedule:

Summer issue - July
Fall issue - October
Winter issue - January
Spring issue - April

Submission of material for publication is highly encouraged! Contact the editors for information on submitting original research, biographies of Alfords, photos, excerpts of published material, newspaper articles about Alfords, etc.:

PDF Copies of AAFA ACTION
PDF copies of Issues #22-46 of the quarterly are linked to the issues listed in the Table of Contents by Year table below. They are complete except for graphics and photographs. In the process of publishing these issues, the graphics were added separately and later and thus not included in these manuscripts.

Scanned PDF copies of Issues #1-7 have been completed and are also available below. These include graphics. Some are in segments. Issues #8-21 will be scanned as time permits.

The Master Booklist
The Master Booklist is a compilation of references to Alfords (and spelling variations) contained in books. Entries are organized by state and county. Each entry lists the book name followed by the name of every "Alford" listed on the pages that AAFA has. The page number where the name is found is followed by a brief description (and sometimes the complete listing) of what information about the person is contained on the page. Copies of every page listed are available. A printed copy of the Master Booklist may also be ordered. See the Master Booklist for details.

AAFA Online Newsletter
The AAFA Online Newsletter(OLNL) is emailed monthly (mostly) to members who subscribe. Most issues contain news about the annual meeting, website updates, a list of recently obtained Alford obituaries, previews of AAFA ACTION articles, etc. To subscribe or contribute, contact the editor.
